Background/Summary: 

The Palm Beach County School District and the City of Riviera Beach have enjoyed joint use of facilities for many years. This is the updated agreement that requires approval by the City Council and the School District.

 

This agreement includes usage of facilities at  Suncoast Community High School, John F. Kennedy Middle School, Lincoln Elementary, Washington Elementary, West Riviera Elementary and Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary for Recreation programs and also limited use for community special events. The agreement details the usage of the Barracuda Bay Aquatics facility by the same schools. Mutual use interlocal agreements are efficient and effective ways to get maximum use from public facilities for public benefit.
