Background/Summary: 

RECENTLY, IT HAS BEEN MENTIONED BY MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ITS  DESIRE TO RE-ESTABLISH AGENDA REVIEW MEETINGS.  THE PURPOSE OF AN AGENDA REVIEW MEETING IS TO ALLOW INDEPTH DIALOGUE BETWEEN COUNCILMEMBERS, MAYOR AND STAFF IN ORDER TO ADDRESS ANY CONCERNS OF ITEMS COMING BEFORE THE LEGISLATIVE BODY DURING A REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING, ETC.,  WHICH IN ESSENCE, CUTS DOWN ON THE ACTUAL MEETING TIME.  THE PUBLIC ALSO ATTENDS AGENDA REVIEW MEETINGS AND MAY SPEAK TO AN ITEM IN THE SAME MANNER AS DURING AN ACTUAL MEETING.

 

DISCUSSION NEEDS TO ENSUE REGARDING DETERMINATION ON WHETHER THE AGENDA REVIEW MEETINGS WILL BE RE-ESTABLISHED AND IF SO, THE DAY AND TIME THE AGENDA REVIEW MEETINGS WILL BE HELD.
