Background/Summary: 

The Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation's mission is dedicated to improving the communities we serve through support of public education and community improvement projects. Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation was founded in 1957 and has a long and proud history of contributing to grassroots community projects. Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation awards millions annually to diverse organizations across the United States. 

 

The City's Department of Community Development received a grant award totaling $38,750.00 from the Lowe's Charitable and Educational Foundation. This grant contribution will be utilized by the City for various elements within Cunningham Park, including site beautification, landscaping, playground equipment and benches.
