Background/Summary: 

Over the past 12 years, Councilwoman Dawn S. Pardo’s “Every Child Should Smile on Christmas” annual toy drive has been bringing joy to the Rivera Beach children on Christmas morning.  Councilwoman Pardo, her staff, along with volunteers, Rivera Beach Public Works, Rivera Beach Fire Rescue and the Rivera Beach Police Department consistently ensures that only the neediest children in Rivera Beach receive the books and toys.  

 

This year’s toy drive “Christmas in Paradise Mingle and Jingle” will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Johnny Longboats, 2401 Ocean Avenue, Singer Island, from 5:00 to 9:00pm.
