Background/Summary: 

The term of office for the General Employee Pension Board member Gilbert Vetters expires November, 2016.  Staff is recommending City Council appoint a new member or re-appointment Mr. Vetter.  Attached is Mr. Vetter's attendance record from January 13, 2014 to present which indicates Mr. Vetter has two (2) excused absences.   Mr. Vetter has met all requirements for certification and his certification is current.  Therefore, staff is requesting that the Mayor with City Council approval, make the appointment of Mr. Vetter to the General Employees Pension Board.  Mr. Vetter has submitted a request for re-appointment along with a request of re-appointment from the General Employees Pension Board. 

 

The General Employees Pension Board meets monthly at 5:30 in the Utility District Conference Room.
