Background/Summary: 

This is the second and final public hearing to adopt the FY17 Budget.  The General Fund Operating budget is balanced using a millage rate of 8.4520 mills which is the same millage rate as current year.  Several workshops with the City Council were held throughout the month of August. 

 

Highlights included in the operating budget are as follows: 

     $5M appropriation in new Pay-As-You-Go capital funding

     Full-time Security at the Library

     Funding for a Compensation Plan Study

     Funding for the Civil Service Board

     Transfer of Code Enforcement to Community Development
