Background/Summary: 

Various size meters need to be purchased to support new customer installations. Additionally as meters are found to be tampered with or require service, a new meter is required to be installed to register the flow of water.

 

The City standardized the type of service meter to be Neptune. Sunstate Meter & Supply which supplies Neptune Meters is a Sole Source Vendor for the State of Florida. The City has utilized previous allotted appropriation authority.
