| | | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | | This is the third year that Club 100 Charities has provided a 7 week full day summer camp for children 8-12 to participate in educational and recreational programs that also include meals and several field trips. Approximately 50 elementary students are expected to attend the camp, many from Riviera Beach. The camp cost $250 per student which is cost prohibitive for low income families, especially those with multiple children. Over the years Club 100 Charities has partnered with the PBSO, Town of Lake Park and the Bethlehem Baptist Haitian Church. This year with the Office of Mayor Thomas Masters is providing a scholarship for four Riviera Beach students who have participated in other Club 100 Charities after school programs. |
