Background/Summary:

The City of Riviera Beach has been operating on a month-to-month contract with Advanced Data Processing Inc., dba, Intermedix since 2011. The City of Palm Beach Gardens has an active contract which is current and expires August 2017. The City of Riviera Beach currently has a Billing Rate of 6.8% with ADPI under the month-to-month contract. By accessing the City of Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach rate will drop to 4.75%. The Fire Chief and the City Purchasing Manager met with ADPI requesting access to the Palm Beach Gardens Contract. ADPI and the City of Palm Beach Gardens have agreed to allow Riviera Beach access to the contract.

A comparison to another municipality that recently awarded a contract to ADPI was offered a similar rate structure as Palm Beach Gardens.

Palm Beach Gardens originally solicited their RFP 2012-004FR in 2012. It was issued as a three year contract with a two year extension.

Since the City of Riviera Beach currently utilizes the services of ADPI and ADPI is knowledgeable of our City needs, it would be beneficial to access a lower billing rate and have a contract until 2017.
