Background/Summary: 
Pursuant to Florida Statute 287.055 - Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), RFQ No. 380-13 was issued in January 2013 to obtain Engineering Services for MLK Boulevard Project Phase C. The CCNA process concluded on June 5, 2013 as the USD Board of Directors approved Resolution 16-13UD.  This Resolution approved the agreement between the USD and Chen Moore and Associates to provide professional engineering planning and design services required in conjunction with the Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard Phase C Improvement Project.  During the design phase, additional areas of improvements were added to the Project.  These improvements were added to eliminate conflicts between the FDOT and USD facilities, at FDOT expense.  The construction administration for these additional areas was not included in the original scope of work.  The District requested a proposal for construction administration and field engineering services for the Project.  On August 11, 2015, Chen Moore and Associates submitted the proposed Scope of Work for the additional construction services.
