| | | | | | | | Background/Summary: | The term of office for the General Employees Pension Board member Ms. Gladys Darville expires November, 2015. Staff is recommending City Council appoint a new member or re-appointment Ms. Darville. Attached is Ms. Darville attendance record from January 30, 2012 to present which indicates Ms. Darville has three (3) excused absences. Ms. Darville has met all requirements for certification and her certification is current,. Therefore, staff is requesting that the Mayor with City Council approval, make the appointment of Ms. Darville to the General Employees Pension Board. Ms. Darville has submitted a request for re-appointment to the board.
The General Employees Pension Board meets monthly at 5:30 in the Utility District Conference Room. A copy of the duties and responsibilities and the composition of the existing board members list are attached. |
