Background/Summary: 
The Youth Empowerment Program provides youth ages 11-19 pro-social services that include but that are not limited to life skills, leadership development, tutoring, mentoring, on-the-job training/career mentoring, school advocacy, recreation, skill building activities, community service learning projects, and conflict resolution/healthy decision making.  Youth Empowerment Program was developed (8) years ago through a collaborative partnership with Palm Beach County Criminal Justice Commission/Youth Services Division.  Youth Empowerment Program is to provide out of school pro-social activities/resources to students during critical hours as a deterrence to crime, violence, and negative behaviors within the community.
